Commission 5

Commission 5

It took me longer than I expected for various reasons, but I finally finished my last big commission! This was fun to work on, because it was a request to drawing a couple of characters from my all time favorite video game, Star Ocean the Second Story! I’m pretty happy with how it turned out!

Commission 4

Finished this one last week. It’s a commission/birthday gift for my friend Wolf! She really loves Raphael from the 2012 version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and she asked for a campfire bonding scene with him and his bro Michelangelo. I guess Raph is kind of an animal whisperer, so he’s surrounded by woodland creatures and his pets Chompy and Spike. Meanwhile Mikey has his pet Ice Cream Kitty to share in the marshmallow roasting activities. She’s pretty cute I think. It was a nice scene to draw!

Commission 3

Finished this one a while back and forgot to post it! It’s Thomas from Zoids Chaotic Century who was requested by my friend Aimee. Zoids has been a favorite franchise of mine for a long time, so I was really excited to get this request!

Many thanks to Sammich for helping me out with the background on this one!

Commission 2

Commission 2

My second large commission for this year! This was also requested by Eric of Toy Saurus. It’s a cover for the Princess Sally hack of the original Sonic the Hedgehog 3/Sonic & Knuckles games for the Sega Genesis. I was really excited to take this one on as Sally was a favorite character of mine when I was a kid, and it had always been a dream of my teenage self to do a cool Sonic project like this! The illustration references the original Sonic 3 cover’s background, but I redrew everything.

As a bonus, I also did a quick illustration to go with the Sally hack for the first Sonic the Hedgehog game for the Genesis!

My roommate Sammich helped me do some shinier lighting on this one. It turned out really nice.

Some Commission Work

Some Commission Work

Whoops, I meant to upload with this last month, but got a little busy. I was able to finish some big commissions this past month, so I’ll share those as I have time to post them.

First big commission I got was the Janine from Ghostbusters that I did for my friend Eric of Toy Saurus. He and his brother created their own custom glow-in-the-dark action figure of Janine to match with the old Ecto-Glow toyline! I tried to create the drawing in a similar style to the original packaging art. It was pretty fun to work on!

If you’d like to see a review of the finished figure and packaging, the YouTube channel Yes Have Some posted a nice video review!
