I did a fair amount of sketching in January, so here it is!
Simple drawing I did for the Lunar New Year.
A new year!
The end of 2020 was pretty crazy for me, so I didn’t get to update like I had hoped. December also came with the issue of my drawing tablet dying, so that set me back on some projects as well. But it’s a new year and I have a new tablet, so I hope to get some more work done. In the meantime I’m going to share some work I did in the last few months of 2020!
To start things off, here’s the Christmas illustration that I made for my holiday cards!

A redraw of an old comic “cover” I drew 20 years ago based on a silly RP from a Pokemon message board. It really could use a better composition, but this was just a quick rough sketch for fun.

Been pretty busy, so I don’t have a lot to share currently, but I wanted to update!
First off, I drew a picture of Tails for my mom for Mother’s Day! She really liked it!
March is over…
This past month has been full of a lot of stress due to Covid-19, so I don’t have as much art to share as I would like, plus I’m trying to finish a couple sets before I post them, but I thought I’d post a little something for now.
First off, I updated my Art Improvement Meme collection so I now have samples from 1993 (so long ago!). I just need one more sample from 1996 to fill it in.

2020: A New Year
I didn’t update this site at all last year, and that’s a shame. So I want to try to do better this year. I really want to work on just doing more art in general. I often get caught up in “will it be good enough?” that I get stuck and don’t draw a lot. So this year I want to just let myself draw without worrying about what’s good enough for this or that. I want to just let myself have fun!
I’ve already done a bunch of sketching this month, so I’m just going to make an art dump here of everything, starting with my first finished drawing of the new year…

Busy busy…
I’ve been working a lot this past week, and I’ve still got a few days to do, so arting hasn’t been particularly productive.
I did manage to redraw an old character of mine tonight, so I can share that!
She’s from an old story I was thinking of doing back in high school/early college. She’s a warrior/sorceress if I remember correctly.
Her old design was a mess, so this is a big improvement. I’d like to color this if I can find the time.
